We are pleased to announce that Queer Theology Academy (QTA) will launch the “2024 Queer Theology Online Workshop for Beginners” in August 2024, targeting Chinese-speaking Christians around the world! QTA is a pioneer in promoting queer theology education in the Chinese language and has successfully completed similar workshops in 2014, 2019, and 2022.

Workshop speakers include theology professors and pastors from North America and Asia. They will cover topics such as Christian LGBTQIA+ movements and history, feminist theology, queer theology, queer Bible interpretation, pastoral care, and principles of sexual ethics, among others. Another key feature of QTA’s workshop is our tutorials, with experienced teaching assistants facilitating in-depth discussions among participants and sharing insights in spiritual renewal.

We warmly invite LGBTQIA+ Chinese Christian leaders from all over the world to apply. There are only 30 spots available, and we look forward to your participation!

Dates and Time: August 16-18 and August 23-25, 2024.
Two consecutive weekends, including Friday evenings, Saturday mornings and evenings, and Sunday evenings (Hong Kong time).

Course Fee: USD 110 / HKD 800 / RMB 750 / NTD 3600 (full-time students may apply for 50% subsidies)
